Another successful ICE Conference, my third in as many years. This year, I opted to share a workshop as opposed to a poster presentation  as I have done in the two previous years (thus trading the good old Marsalis room for the Jade room on the second floor). For me, the two general conference days were spent focusing on a few featured speakers as well as topics that I know will be of importance in our future at ETHS. Specifically, I observed sessions focusing on iPad deployment, SMARTBoard lessons, and Digital Storytelling. All of my notes are available via CoverItLive . It is hard to believe that it's been over one week since my five days of non-stop edtech goodness in the city of brotherly love. Although my walking shoes have been thanking me for taking a break, I have had some time to reflect with satisfaction on another year of learning new information, tips, and tricks as well as setting job related goals for the upcoming school year.

Image via Wikipedia Well, another week has come and gone with a post per day. A story arc appeared as jailbreaking the iPhone started and ended the week. On Monday, I reflected on my experience freeing up my iPhone and how ultimately, I still wasn’t satisfied. Tuesday, I offered teachers and other readers a summary of how to capture screenshots on multiple platforms. Dropbox was suggested as a possible flash drive replacement on Web Wednesday. Thursday’s review was a roundup of the best sports widgets available on Android . I then discussed how learning math can be fun with a few basic online games on Friday, and we came full circle with a discussion of how iPhone 4 users are still tempted by the additional features that become available when one jailbreaks. August marks the return to school, but we still have a few weeks remaining. As always, thanks for reading.
